Water Lily V1

This Water Lily from 2024 is the first plant, which I designed.

Designing such a plant is different from designing an animal. Instead of the number of appendages, their connection to the body and details like eyes or ears, you have to think of a way to make many petals. For this challenge, I had the following approach: You make five petals in a row. Each row is folded in a way, that it closes itself. Many rows above each other should give you the desired result.
Moving towards the middle, the petals become smaller. I was able to solve this aspect by making trapezoid molecules. the paper in between the molecules is folded inside. However the excess paper would then be inside the petals. So I decided to split the molecules in their middle and place the unused paper there. Near the middle, there will be enough extra paper to make one or two rows with ten petals each and to make the studs in the center of a water lily.

That was quite a complex description, that´s why I´ve posted the cp, it should make things more simple.
The leaf is not included, because I found no clean transition between the flower and the leaf.

The photo diagrams for the leaf.
